2026/27 Hockey Registration

Ages 3-15

Please note that once kids get to age 11 and older, it is much harder to start playing hockey, especially if they aren't solid skaters.

The season starts in Late October and goes until Mid March. We do have pre-season practices for Squirts and Older starting in September.

Practices are held between Reedsburg (RACA) and the Dells (Poppy Waterman Ice Arena). Most home games are at RACA. Most away games are within a 1 1/2 hr radius. Learn to play won't usually have any away games.

Teams practice 2-3 times per week in the evenings.

For mites and older, games will usually fall on the weekends. Mites usually about 1 per weekend, Squirts and Older 2-3 games a weekend.

Jerseys are supplied by the association and do require a $300 deposit that is only cashed if the jersey is not returned or is damaged beyond normal wear and tear. Please note that if you borrow equipment, this is included in the $300 deposit.

20 Service Hours per family are Required for Mite and Older.

10 Service Hours are required if your child is a returning Learn to Play.

No Service Hours are required for New Players (players who never played hockey)

Service Hours are earned by working concessions and helping with rink set up and tear down. You can also get service hours through being a team rep, coaching and being on rink crew! Max 20 hours per family. If you work all your hours, we won't cash your deposit check. If you don't work all of your hours, we will cash your deposit check. You do have the option to buy out for $750 (Mite through Bantam)/$375 (Returning Learn to Play). For new players, there is no service hour requirement, however we always welcome extra help! Of note, if your player is coming from another association, they are considered a returning player, so you would need to do service hours.

Every family will have to participate in the fundraiser. 1st year families must do a minimum of $100 worth of fundraising. All other families must do a minimum of $260. You have the option of the Sportsman's Raffle, Pizza or to Buy Out. Pizza Forms and Sportsman's Raffle tickets will be handed out at in-person registration. You must attend an In-Person Registration to pick-up your raffle tickets. Pizza forms will also be available on our website under Resources>Printable Forms.  

Once you reach mites and older, there are team duties that are required of ALL families. These include penalty box, score clock, scoresheet, locker room monitor, team open skate nights, tournament shifts, etc. Please note that these do NOT go towards service hours as they are part of being on the team and you are NOT exempt if you bought out of service hours.
